A few Trojans

I tried norton yesterday and didn't discover CDance. and Back door trojans!

iam trying bitdefender antivirus now it looks nice but is slow (got the trojans dough) But there is some 24 files
that can be oppened. it says "cannot opened: 24" what do that means?

iam confused now about wich antivirus should i get.

bitdefender is still scanning my computer: 50 minutes now!

and download AVG.. It is free and quite good. Allows for real-time and email scanning as well as auto-updates.

I tried bitdefender and it was still scanning after 13 hours. It was also constantly accessing (trying) the internet. I uninstalled it. The files it marked as suspicious were harmless, normal program files. Jim

yea, thank you. after all bitdefender did a good job in my case but it take's a looooong time.

iam reinstalling windows xp very soon maybe tomorrow and i would like to install an antivirus that i will trust.

it's sad that you can't do internet with fun anymore...

i will try avg now.
