A few backup / restore / migrate questions

Hi all,

I need help to do these,

1) migrate a sharepoint portal sever portal 2003 from one server, to another.

2) backup and restore a SUBAREA ONLY (will restore to same place)

3) help with restoring portals via the command line. I didnt delete the databases when I deleted the site from the server, but when using stsadm.exe to restore a portal I still get told;

"The virtual server which is referenced here is not in the config database".

Please help, I've been trying work-a-rounds for over a week now.

Are u going to move databases, web server or both (one server two server)?
