A Duplicate Name Exists "Trust"

We just updated a WINNT 4 Domain to 2000 - We kept the orginal domain name and added .local as the new 2000 name. SO - we have a domain that was upgraded with the same name essentially, as the NT 4 domain

We have 3 domains and now one of them will not establish trust with the newly upgraded domain. Trust between the two domains not upgraded exists - and one of the domains is able to establish trust to the upgraded domain.

However, when I try to establish trust between the other two domains - I get "A Duplicate Name Exists on the Network"

I have found no KB articles about this and need assistance. I have redone the LMHOST file, double checked the spacing, ran a nbtstst -R and -c and everything looks good.

Not sure where to go from here.

I went into DNS and saw we had an A record pointed to the wrong IP.
