I have an old VFP application in version 7.

When I try to compile it, it fails to compile beacuse it says file _mtl_browser is missing.

Where can I get a copy of this file?

It isn't part of VFP so it must be part of your application. You expect US to know what it is? ;-)

Actually, _mtl_browser is VFP's internal key for the Object Browser. You see if you use the menu designer, and then use Insert Bar to create a command for the Object Browser.

That said, I've no idea why VFP should be telling you it's missing -- or, for that matter, why someone has tried to place the Object Browser in the menu of an executable file.

It didn't make sense to me either so I removed it and recompiled. The application compiles runs fine now.
