I have Windows 98SE installed along with Symantec Corporate Edition Version 8.1. When using pdf995 to create a pdf document, printing stops and there numerous entries for winoldap and one entry for <unknown> when ctrl+alt+del is pressed. This happcpens on around 4/5 98SE PC's, but never occurs on any 95 's.

Any idea's?

Thanks

Update the AV program with the latest files, and run a virus scan.

Definition files are up-to-date.

This only started happening after we had installed Symantec Corporate AV to all PC's.

Thanks

winoldap normally activates if any DOS programs are running.

See if uninstalling and reinstalling the AV program helps. And make sure to close down all programs, except Explorer and Systray, with C-A-D before reinstalling it.

Novell Client?

Posted to the patches link on the web site are three different .reg files which should create all the possible registry entries that were omitted.

Exp.reg which is the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer key.
Expsys.reg which is the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System key.
Expdos.reg which is the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\WinOldApp key.
