98 problem boot-up from ATAPI CD-ROM 1

im running win98SE and im trying to start the windows xp set-up from DOS....when i start the computer, it says "boot from atapi cd rom but it doesnt tell me to push anything...but i still try and push a key to boot it up but it wont, it just skips and start 98...i tried going to start-up opitions and setting the cd rom drive as the first starting device and it still wont work, i even put it as the only starting device and it says invalid system disk...is there anything i can do to make it start from the cd-rom,

thanks so much ski....it worked....i got the windows xp setup to start with a windows 98 boot disk as it explained in url.
