MY PBX IS SET TO BLOCK ALL 976'S , BUT I HAVE A CORPORATE CALL IN # THAT IS 1-800-976-XXXX. HOW CAN I ALLOW THIS SPECIFIC STRING TO PASS WITHOUT UNRESTRICTING ALL 976'S

You can deny the 976 in LD 90 under the NPA (1800) prompt of your corp NPA (1800) and then allow only the one number you need. Try that, it should work.

FYI, NPA-976-???? is actually a valid 'normal' exchange in some locations. 976 is not a universal 'information service' exchange. We only un-block it on a case-by-case basis tho.

i don't know if that's right but i set up somthing similar in my switch to block all 212 #s unless a charge code is entered, but allowed the building security without a charge code. If yours didn't work try this. I had to create a new RLI w/a lower NCOS (ARLI prompt) for the one number I wanted to allow.
