I searched several posts and could not come up with a definite answer here so I decided to post my question and hopefully have it stated specifically.
I am running Cm 3.1.5
We have a few hundred 16xx series ip phones and we are trying to install some 96xx series ip phones now as well. My problem is when used at a site where the current option 242 is set up we are seeing the file server reported as 0.0.0.0
Here is the option 242
MCIPADD=172.16.x.xx,172.16.x.xx,MCPORT=1719,HTTPSRVR=172.16.x.x,TLSSRVR=172.16.x.x,L2Q=1,L2QVLAN=16,VLANTEST=0
I was curious if having both httpsrvr= and tlssrvr= is part of the problem as the other option 242's posted generally have 1 of them.
Previously we had the S8710 server acting as the file server but ran into some issues and chose to move the files to a seperate server.
I have verified the files in the file server by statically assigning the address and the phones upgrade successfully and dl the 46xx settings file successfully.
These are refurb 96xx phones and we have not done anything but unbox them. Any help as to why the 96 phones cannot see a file server would be appreciated. Thank you all.
