9641G "invalid file" during install/upgrade

IPO R9.1.9.0 build 182

I have a new 9641G that I'm trying to set up, but get "invalid file" when the phone tries to update when it boots up? I have the IPO as the http server and have the phone file server type set to memory card. I also have several 9630G phones that install/update just fine when installed. the 9641G seems that it starts to obtain file for 2-3 seconds, then says "invalid file" on display. phone then prompts me to put extension number and password. if I put in extension, the phone comes up but has problems (time and date cut off/not displaying correct, cant see any numbers dialed on intercom line, contacts and history buttons don't work, ect...)

love the look of the phone, so I'm hoping someone can share a fix....

my SD card file shows S9621_41HALBR6_6_3_02_V474.tar, but it looks like the Manager folder has a "newer" version of the file S9621_41HALBR6_6_4_01_V474.tar

I was wondering if this was a corrupt file issue?

I also noticed there is 9.1.12 software...... I'm running 9.1.9. do I need to upgrade the IPO to 9.1.12, or should it work with 9.1.9?

sorry guys.... I just noticed that the IPO is running 9.1.9 and I need to upgrade it to 9.1.12 (which is why I saw the different files)

sorry for the brain fart! I'll upgrade and report back....
