Is there a way to have the user change their security code on their phones? We usually manually assign the security code on the station form, but the security folks are trying to lock systems down.

There is a FAC for this, but usually dialing only the FAC is just for analog phones. On IP Stations you need to configure a extension for telecommuting access:

Code:
change telecommuting-access Page 1 of 1
                              TELECOMMUTING ACCESS

                     Telecommuting Access Extension: 700-0000

If you've done this you need to dial the following on the IP station:

- Dial telecommuter extension. (hear dialtone).
- Enter the change password FAC code: . (hear dialtone).
- Enter your extension then #. (hear silence).
- Enter your current password, then #. (hear dialtone).
- Enter your new password (4 to 8 digits), then #. (hear dialtone).
- Re-enter your new password, then #. (hear confirmation tones).
- Hang up.

To make it easier for your users, you can add the telecommuting-access extension to the "abbreviated-dialing system" and label it. Then you can add this abbreviated-dialing entry as a button to the phones.
