G430 (LSP Site)
Customer has Various sites, on the site in question Ext Range 14XXX the customer got shipped 2 x 9630's when plugged in kept getting stuck at message 'contacting call server' statically addressed they work fine.
On the site in question they already had a working 9630 (14015) with the same version of FW but as you can see a different MAC ADDRESS. Both the phone the Only work on Static addressing which get a 'contacting call server' when setup via DHCP have the Same MAC (14010 & 14013)
Another phone (55975) has the same MAC as the 2 which do not work on DHCP (starting 2c
but has a totally different FW.
I have not been to site and can only go on what the engineer tested but something does not add up here, why will these 2 phones not accept DHCP properly. The scope is working fine because all other phone on the site work fine. Why do these 2 phones have different MAC's to every other phone with the same FW.
I am aware of issues with the FW 3.171b BUT this works fine for other phones on that site. Can anyone shed any light on what might be happeining.
