Hey Guys... in reading the manual for the 9608/9611G telephone (manual dated Jan 2014), it says that I should have the following under the Options & Settings Menu>

-Call Settings
-Assign Speed Dial Entries
-Assign Favorites Entries
-Applications Settings
-Screen & Sound Options
-Langueate & Region
-Advanced Options.

However I only have Call Settings, Screen & Sound, and Advanced?? Here is the link to the manual (refer to page 24) -

Any idea?

Have over 200 of these installed in a 7 site SCN, & none of these have these options...All on latest firmware...

Check the TUI on the user or user rights.

Check which user guide you're reading. The one you keep quoting isn't for IP Office - you'll find a lot more doesn't work than just the one thing you've spotted so far.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I have checked the TUI under the user/user rights - everything checked... It says this is the User guide for the Avaya 9608/9608G/9611G IP Deskphones SIP? Will these options not be availble on the H.323 version?

H.323 adn SIP are totally different.
Only the hardware is the same, the rest is complete different.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

When you read through the IP Office user guide for those phones, you'll see that many of the things that you expected to be under the A menu are still there but under the other IP Office menus. So rather than not being supported, its simply the fact that the route by which they or the equivalent IP Office function are set is different.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
