9611G and Bluetooth 1

Want to use a bluetooth headsets with the 9611G. Can anyone confirm that this is done via the USB port on the phone? Cant find anything on this anywhere. Docs say with adapter.The 9600 Bluetooth adapter is not compatible with the 9611G. No adjunct port on phone. Please Help.thanks in advance.

Blue tooth is reported to be available in a near future firmware relase.

The 9611G does not have an integrated Bluetooth gateway so will not work even with a "future firmware release". For the 9611G, you would need to use an external Bluetooth gateway plugged into the headset port. Both Plantronics and Jabra have units which are compatible with the 9611G.
