I upgraded our office phones to h.323 v6.4 and the vpn option is gone from the menu.

If i revert back to 6.3 it shows up again

VPNPROC value is set to 2 to view and edit

Is there something i'm missing, something i need to do?

Is there any word on the release notes?
You must factory default the phone after a upgrade when using IP Office.
Although not mentioned it may very well be that the VPN can ony be configured through the settings file.

Did you download the software from support.avaya.com? If so, make sure that you did NOT download the version which is noted as having encryption disabled. "encryption disabled" also means that VPN is disabled.

I upgraded when the file first came out. I didn't remember that there were different versions available.

You were correct. I must have downloaded the encryption disabled. I changed to the other version and VPN settings are now available.

Thanks a million.

Gwebster, now that is new info to me :)
Star for you.

BAZINGA!
