Installing a new 9608 phone and it doesn't see the phone system. It is plugged into the same network switch as the phone system with no VLAN established. IP Offce is a 11.1 I have many avaya endpoint licenses available for more phones to install but trying to get one to work first.
Set up of the phone is Phone IP 192.168.1.205
Call Server IP 192.168.1.201
Router IP 192.168.1.1
Mask IP 255.255.255.0
HTTP IP 192.168.1.201

When I programmed the settings is says " waiting for LLDP" then says " contacting call server" then it asks for extension number and password. As soon as I enter the extension number and password it immediately shows " Discover 192.168.1.201.

I can ping the system and phone but nothing else.
Thank you

Again, I get the login screen and enter the extension and password then it freeze for awhile then goes the Avaya OneX screen. What am I missing?

@Shermanchicken

There must be an issue connecting back to the ipo..
Are you sure there is no vlan .

Prove ipo by taking it off the network and either connect a basic data switch to your lan port.
Or connect phone directly to port..you will need a power adaptor to do that.

See if your phones connects and login works.

Or

Set ipo to supply DHCP , reset phone to default and let the phone pickup the dhcp settings from the system.
Set the ipo to use memory card to get the files.
This way it will get the correct settings.

The phone should go through the upgrade files it needs and show 200 when connecting properly.
You can watch this on the phone screen and see the files loading.

You can also watch this on system monitor and see the phone getting the required files.

If it doesn’t work after this stage..I don’t know…🙇🏻‍♂️

What does that mean……

Can you ping the router of the network you are on..
If not then your network is not allowing you to connect to ipo.

Can you connect your laptop to the network from the port in the back of the phone..
What can you ping from there.

Have you double checked the ACL's in IP Office.
Open system status, under System, VoIP Security. Is the IP Of the phone in question blacklisted?

If you get to the login screen on the phone, then it did connect to the IPO and grab the 46xxsettings.txt file, but did it get the certs from the https server?
I noticed in your first post:
Set up of the phone is Phone IP 192.168.1.205
Call Server IP 192.168.1.201
Router IP 192.168.1.1
Mask IP 255.255.255.0
HTTP IP 192.168.1.201

Where is your https server?
Can you try setting the h.323 signalling over TLS to "disabled"

If it works after setting to disabled, you may have a poorly configured TLS certificate.

@snowman50

Plugged into the back of the phone I can ping the IP Office and router.
When I get a chance I will change the system to dhcp and test.

@ Travis Harper

No extensions are blacklisted.

HTTPS is currently set as the same as http 192.168.1.201

Currently the H.323 signaling over TLS is disabled. I haven’t changed it. Is this what needs to be preferred or enforced?

@Shermanchicken

Make sure your phone setting value does not have a Vlan entry other than 0.
If there is a number in there it will try and look for that Vlan which doesn’t exist.

VLan is set to 0

Not SIP

Changed setting of H.323 signaling to preferred.

Now have an alarm in System Status that says

TLS certificate has expired.

Opened Security Settings, System, Certificates

It shows installed certificates but am uncertain what I need.
