I am trying to get a remote phone up. The remote site has Comcast for their ISP and a Technicolor TC8305C modem/router.

I did have success with it at our office and two other locations. (All three were with Time Warner ISP)

The phone will register...sorta. But it will just say "phone" and have access to the features only. In the monitor the phone does show as being registered, but the phone type says its a 4624? Maybe a glitch with the SW version? Its a 9608.

Any help would be appreciated.

 
When I last had this issue it was the phone not upgraded properly.
I had to get the remote phone put back in to the main office (as something was going squiffy pulling updates over the net) and configured for local use on the system; it upgraded and we could log it in/use it fine, continued to work when it was used back at the remote site.

Might help, might not.
