8.0 Rls and I've seen G and OG but I've never seen S or SG.
Any ideas? Set is working fine.

I am not sure but wasn't the S for backup voicemail???

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Backup Voicemail? Stupid question but what does that mean exactly. She has Main HG VM and it's VM Pro.

Voicemail pro can have a second voicemail server set as backup if the main VMPro server is down.

S = System Alarm
If you are configured as a system administrator, an S in the phone's display indicates a system alarm

That was it.
I always seem to have problems finding what these letters stand for.
There is a list but i do not know where and it is frustrating :)

That was it. She had an alarm on her system that our installer went out and cleared so all is good. Yeah I agree-no clue where to find this list

The complete list is in the Avaya 9500 Series User Guide and the Avaya 9600 Series User Guide.

The complete list.
It's been posted 50 times before...51...:)

B = Barred
D = Diverting (Forwarding) Calls
G = Group Member (In Group)
N = No Calls (Do Not Disturb)
O = Out of Service
T = Twinned
R = Resilience
S = System Alarm

Kind regards

Gunnar

...add for some of the really old phones:

P = Parked call
H = Held call

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

And for very, very old phones:
0x = number of calls in history log
