9508 r.45? 1

Has anybody received this bin file from avaya for the issues these phones have been having with 8.1(52)? if so, does it solve the freezing, and phone randomly going idle with the "please wait" screen until rebooted? thanks

I received the r45 fix file along with a few other files to replace in the manager directory, after the upgrade now the 9508 is stuck on please wait still with the r44 firmware? How did you guys perform the upgrade to r45?

Hi Maguiresc,

What version of core software is the IPO?
I have just upgraded 4 of our systems to 8.1.632702
and uploaded the R45 bin file upto the IPO using Embedded file management.

The 9508's took about 15 minutes to upload the new firmware.

I just did the upgrade and didn't realize I had to push the bins through file management. Everything is fine now! If anyone needs the fix let me know.
