Hi guys,
I'm running 6.1(12) with 9630 phones with add on modules. My initial problem is that when the power is removed, the phones try to initialize but get stuck right when the phone is about to come up. The appearance keys show and then 2 seconds later the phone reboots and gets stuck in that circle. I then have to clear the phone and enter the callserver address again and the http server address for it to come back up.

Through some troubleshooting, I found that this problem was only happening to the 9630's (with add on module) with bridged appearances on them. Once I remove the bridged appearance, and I reboot the phone, the phone starts up like it should. As soon as I put the bridged appearance on, it goes back to the endless loop.

I would really appreciate anyone's input on this problem.

Thanks,
Dan

I had same issue on rel 6. never got a good answer. you might need to send it to avaya.

Did the BM32's got the right firmware?

it happens with phones that have no side cars also. you remove the bridges they are good.you put them back on the phone and they cant be rebooted without a clear.
