911 Question

Hello Everyone, I need some feedback on the following scenario.

Scenario: I have 5 IP phones in my office in TX that register back to a CLAN board in another site in MN. If one of these users in TX dials 911 the call will be sent to the local dispatch of the office in MN. Since these IP phones are actually stations off the MN switch (but in a remote location)is there anyway to get 911 calls for these IP phones to be directed to the emergency dispatch in TX?

If you only have IP phones and no trunks you will not be able to use '911'. However, what you can do is put those stations in a different COS that uses a different partition group. Within the Partition Group you can send them to t unique Route Pattern that deletes the 911 digits and replaces it with the phone number of the local police department. They may get a menu at the police department.

How do I x-reference a COS with a partition group?

list partitioned-route-table. The PGN 1-8 across the top are the Time Of Day entries within the COR's and the Route Index number down the left hand column are the partitioned route pattern numbers. If you list your route patterns, you may see some entries starting with P, before the number, this is what the P is referring to.
