911 question

I have three S8500 switches in different locations connected together (ESS).
When 911 is dialed from a remote location, it shows on the main switch and the local (main switch location) police is notified. How to configure the switches so the local police to each switch is notified in case of 911 dialing?

Are you using ARS location tables?

This will allow calls to route out of the local switch.

Yes, there are different ARS tables for each location.
The ARS table for that location looks like this:

Trunk group 21 is the group in that location 2.

What type of phones are you trying to use to call 911?

If they're IP Phones, just confirm their in Location 2.

If they're digital/analog phones they should subscribe the cabinet/media gateway location they reside in.

If they're TTI stations, then they use the generic ARS ANA table... Sometimes as an oversight, that remains populated after locations have been added. You may want to check that.

pubu vs. alrt shouldn't make a difference. He's likely using it look at emergency access calls or he has a Crisis Alert button setup on a station.
