I am installing a IP Office 6.0 V2 with PRI service. Could someone tell me if the following is possible. IP office sends main number of 555-555-5555 for all normal outbound calls made from digital phones and remote IP phones, However if someone dials 911 from the digital phones it still sends 555-555-5555, and if someone dials 911 from remote ip phones it sends out 777-777-7777? Can this be done with short codes and if so what would the short code entrys be? Thanks in advance.

add s777-777-7777 behind the shortcode to 911 into the ARS in the phone number field that says 911, actually you probably have two shortcodes there one for 11 and one for 911 and the line provider needs to allow you to do it too otherwise it will not work

insanity is just a state of mind

Thanks Joe, but how would you make outbound caller id for 911 dialing different for people dialing out on the remote ip phones vs local digital phones?

Then don't add the s(number) in ARS add it in user/user rights shortcodes, so:

User
911 and/or 9911
Dial Emergency
911s(number)
Line Gp - PRI

ACS - IP Office Implement

"What the Crocodile Hat....was that?
