Is it possible to show a non (did) extension when making a 911 call? I have a CS1000MG 4.5 software. Everything works great on a 911 call if it is sent via a system (did)#, but if it is an extension their is no way to tell where it is coming from except for general location which I have set up in ld-15 In other words I have a #601-506-7777 as a main (did),but if someone calls from ext.2422 they only see the 601-506-7777.

Thanks in advance!

You'll have to build a CLID entry to accomodate non-did sets.

Ok. I did not think about that.

Thank you.

Sending out a non DID number as your CLID will runthe risk of showing someone elses screen=pop at the PSAP.

You always have to send one of your REAL numbers.
