I have a IPS with 911 not working anymore. It all happens since we removed route 14 which was connected to a PRI from our system or maybe something I Did in LCR.
I only modified LCR group 3 for internal calls and 911 is in LCR group 0.

Here's what I got from MOC:

8A4005>911:WRONG-
855>911:03-

Even if I try to assign a new route pattern,it gives me an error:

8A4005>911:WRONG-002
DIGIT ERROR

Do I have deleted something by mistake in 8A4007 or it has something to do with the old missing route. All other calls are going to our new route 12 fine.

Not enough digits for 8A4005 you need four digits eg 0002 to take you to 8A0002.

I still get a data error... The other numbers are fines.See below for 411 and 418.

8A4005>911:WRONG-0002
DATA ERROR

8A4005>911:WRONG-0001
DATA ERROR

8A4005>411:0001-

8A4005>418:0002-
855>418:10-

855>411
855>411:03-

That means there is possibly an entry that clashes. check out 9 and 91. I can never remember (without being in front of a system) whether that means less digits or more so also check 911x and so on. You will need to modify the entries accordingly.

Here is what I have:

8A4005>9:0002-

8A4005>91:WRONG-

I also have this for 911 in 8A4000:

8A4000>911:5000-

911 should be set up as follows. A cheat sheet can be found at 200>9>A126
8A4005>911>0011
8A0011>01120 (route table 011 plus trunk route 20)
855>911>03

The rest of 8A4005 for 9 should be;
90>0002
92-99>0002
910>0002
913-919>0002
855>910>07
912-919>07
92-99>07
You should also set up 11 in case in a panic they forget to dial 9 first.
8A4005>11>0012
8A0012>01220
8A5012>100>9000
8A9000>0>9
This adds 9 to the 11 that was dialed.
855>11>03
10>07
12-19>11

Why is it is that I cannot remove it and start over from start? I always get DATAERROR:
Does it have to be done in order?

200>9>A126

8A4005>911:WRONG-CCC
DATA ERROR

8A4005>911:WRONG-0011
DATA ERROR

8A4005>9:0002-CCC
You have to clear 9 first.. Then build 90, 910-919, 92-99

Wrong means that you put in too many digits.
Data error means you did not put enough digits in.
Try 9, 90, 900, etc.
Or, 900, 90, 9, etc.
To expand the number of digits you first must delete the existing entry.
8A4005>9>xxxx>CCC EXE will delete singel digit 9.
Go back into 8A4005 and expand the number of digits. 8A4005>90>xxxx>EXE.

I did all the programming in LCR with Matworx but it takes about 10 seconds before the call goes through...
Am I missing something else?

Here is my script executed in matworx without errors:

There are four ways to reduce the dialing delay.
CMDs
410>03>0 = sudo answer timer should be set to 0 for the shortest time which is 4-8 seconds. This is for analog trunks.
3521>TK RT>01 = sender pre pause timer
3546>TK RT>0 = 2 seconds = sender release timer
855> local 7 digit numbers should be set to 07. Long distance numbers should be 11. Emergency numbers and 411 should be set to 03 as well as 11. International numbers 01 should be set to 16 or 18. There will be a delay, but that is normal for international numbers. If you set it to 16 and the number consists of 17 digits the call will not go through.

I still have the delay with these settings:

3521>12:01-
3546>12:0-
855>911:03-

a simple test is do you get the delay if you dial 911# as the # signifies end of dialing and defeats the inter digit timer. This would confirm whether this id a timer in the system.

Very good idea! It is working fine with the #. So what timers would cause this? Timers in command 410?

Ok so it is a timing problem but we shouldn't be looking at the timers that affect this, we should be looking at why the timers are kicking in, in the first place! and the best place to be looking is digit length as the # said stop looking at digit length. You need to follow it through LCR and work out why the digit length is thought to be longer than you think it is set for. Sorry if this isn't helpful but it is difficult not seeing the actual programming. It could be a hangover from the previous programming that you had to expand out in the LCR.

Hi,

I have redone LCR completely from scratch. I realized it was not working again so I changed this to make it work:

855>11:02-

Here is my final LCR:

Thank you very much for all your great help.

Well done and congratulations on working it out. Only too pleased to be of any help I was.
