Hi All,

Is there an issue with VM pro 9.1?, I currently have a IP500 V2 running 9.1.8 and VM pro on a 2012 server also running 9.1.8 but whatever I try I only get voicemail not running on the handsets and busy on *17. When I log onto the server I can open up the client no problem and it connects fine, if I downgrade to 9.0 vm pro it works fine but tried 9.1.7 and 9.1.8 now and neither work.

Thanks

Also check Voicemail Password in Security Settings of IPO and General Settings of VMPro.. they must match.

The server isn't a DC, I have checked and double checked password in security and VM client

All VM resources available, but every time I dial *17 congestion count goes up

Sure sounds like a partial connection, much like when an SCN shows up but calls don't work, somethings being blocked :)

We had this problem a lot when upgrading system. It was very random, some upgrades went fine, other we had to roll them back. There are some security settings that can hose up your VM connection. If when you open the client and all it gives you is the IP of the IPO and not the name, the I would look in security for some of the services they decided to turn off in 9.1. (I am a few hundred miles from my test system right now, so I can't give much in the way of specifics) I will check when I get back. Seems like it had something to do with the web socket ping-pong (monitor HTTP).

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

All sorted now, reset security settings and this solved the problem...9.1 eh!!!!

Yep, 9.1 really messes with security settings, it will corrupt them for fun.... much like 9.1 Manager will screw over your 9.0 configs for a laugh :)
