When a call rings to a HG it automatically connects to the next logged in agent after 1 ring. No opportunity for the agent to not answer or ignore and no pushing of buttons. Any help will be appreciated
It's doing what you told it, by default the only group in the system is collective with everyone in it (at the time the system was first fired up) so any other programming is custom, find the group and change the settings
What is the "No Answer Time" of the group set to? - 1 ring is approximately 15 seconds.
Does it do it for every agent or just the first?
As said, that's not default behaviour so the answer will be mos likely in the group settings (unless its a bug but you haven't said anything about the version of IP Office system etc).
If all agents have a headset you can enable Auto Answer Force Feed on the extensions, then external calls will be auto connected to a agent who will hear a beep and get the call.
It means that a call is forced to a agent and autoanswer by the system so a agent gets a signal and have a call wether they want it or not.
Pretty rude way of working.
