Centralized SIP Phones

During sunny day, when a call has been forwarded using enhance call forward the 96x1 displays the name of the forwarded party and the number of the Called party.

This is only relevant when an enhanced call forward has been invoked.

We don't see the sun so much, so that's a relief

I have 1 customer who has been waiting for the One-X mobile client as a softphone, but other than that...

Little things help, like FQDN for STUN and SMTP but there is little in the wow factor department

I think SIP remote workers is a good thing.
Voip for One-X Mobile.
DNS names for SMTP etc.
Call preservation is a major enhancement.
And there is some more.

Andy, try the NoUser source number.
It fixed it for me with a colleague who changed provider.
His phone stopped working until i changed the port with the NoUser source number.

Anybody having problems upgrading via the upgrade wizard to this GA release of V9, files fail to transfer?

If I want to set the Server edition to DEMO Mode I get the follow error:

File /usr/bin/ipoffice from install of ipoffice-demo-9.0.0-829.el6.i586 conflicts with file from package ipoffice-9.0.0-829.el6.i586

What do i Wrong?

You are already running it in the normal IPO server edition mode.
You need to reinstall it and then select the demo package.
If you did that then uninstall the normal package and then install the demo package.

Short Form Dialing Length: Default = 0. Ranage = 0 to 14.
This number specifies the short-form dialing length for all Centralized users and Groups. Configuration of this field allows IP Office to treat the last N digits (where N is the number entered in this field) of each Centralized user’s extension number as an alias to that user’s extension number. For example, if a Centralized user’s extension number is 5381111 and the Short Form Dialing Length is 4, the system will match calls to 1111 with this extension. When 1111 is dialed by another user on the system, entered from the autoattendant, or comes from the ICR, then in sunny-day that call will be sent to Session Manager with the number converted to 5381111 and in rainy-day it will target the extension 5381111 locally.

Looks like we can route calls according to rain/sun now! Gotta love the help files.
