9.0 Hunt Group to Voice Mail Timer

IP500 V2 9.0, 2 each Combo Cards, 5 each Analog Trunks, Embedded Mail and all 1416 Sets
I have 2 Hunt Groups Built
Phantom User (without Voice Mail) in each Group
Queuing Turned On
Voice Mail Turned On
Pass Codes Set
Voice Mail Answer Time is Set to 1 Second

My problem is that once I dial either Hunt Group. It takes 8 seconds for the Voice Mail to Answer.
Customer would prefer it to be sooner
Did I miss a setting somewhere?
 
what is the reason for the phantom users?

to route calls direct to VM you simply need the following

Group empty
VM Enabled
Queuing off
No Overflow.


there will still be delay whilst the VM Pro prepares to answer the all (Approx 2 rings)



Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
 
What's the point of the whole thing when you have a 1 second timeout. Just route the calls straight to voicemail in the first place if that's what you want.

A better explanation of the scenario will probably get you a better and more reliable solution that the one you've currently tried.

Call rings into the AA
They choose either option 1 or 2

Option 1 takes them to Hunt Group 126
Hunt Group 126
Group empty
VM Enabled
Queuing off
No Overflow.

Option 2 takes them to Hunt Group 127
Hunt Group 126
Group empty
VM Enabled
Queuing off
No Overflow.

Voice Mail Answer Timer is set to 1 sec for both Groups

My goal is to send these callers straight to each Hunt Group Voice Mail as soon as possible.
Currently about 4 seconds before the mail boxes answer.
They do hear the beeps indicating transfer and then about a three second wait

I'm using Hunt Group Voice Mails because I need several sets to be able to see when there a messages and be able to access through their Embedded Visual Voice Mail.
I have H126 and H127 as Source Numbers for the users that need access to these. And that works just fine.
 
Just use short codes put the calls straight into the group mailboxes - plain, simple. eg. 98/Voicemail Collect/#126 and 99/Voicemail Collect/#127.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
