9.0.4 outbound touch tones on PRI 6

FYI and question on 9.0 SP4.

I upgrade my own unit and noticed that when placing calls out my Comcast PRI, touch tone (DTMF) sounds were not being transmitted (I received DTMF tones, but couldn't send them out).

1. I tested calling in and calling out on the PRI, DTMF tones going out did not work for either scenario. Inbound tones always worked.
2. I tested dialing other extensions, it worked correctly.
3. I tested dialing out a SIP trunk, it worked correctly.

Finally I downgraded back to 9.0.3 (CP1) and DTMF on the PRI is fine again.

Anyone seen that before? Anyone else experience it?

Tempted to re-upgrade to 9.0.4 to see if it comes back.

I've found out that 16xx sets work fine, so I changed the codec for the 96xx and 96x1 to G.711 instead of G.722 and now outbound DTMF works. Something with the having it set to G.722 that breaks it.

I just tested disabling G.722 and it worked for me! Good find.

Just wanted to see if changing to G.711 is still working for you guys after a few days. If it works I am going to upgrade a client of mine who has 9641's with a PRI. Let me know. Thanks!

Yes, one of our phones is a 9641, and outbound dtmf is still working with G.711

9611's and a 9621 with PRI on 9.0.4 and we have no issues.
