We recently installed an 8700 - we have PT to PT T1's connecting the sites. It is it's own network no data is going across these T1's has any one had problems with calls dropping between after setting up the 8700 enviroment?

I have installed this before and no problems with calls dropping.
can you tell a little more about the configuration ?
What are you using to connect the 2 locations, and is this a new installation or an upgrade.
I suppose you have a 8700 Multi Connect.
Things like that can maybe help.

It is a new/upgrade install. It is on a private network (PT to PT T1's). New G700's at one locations and upgrade G3SIR 10 CM2.1. at the other. Everything was working fine then the last 3 weeks calls start dopping and it's like the cards are going bad. We have to shut down and start the equipment back up. Avaya is saying we need to upgrade the firm ware and move the cards away from each other - we still don't have an answer as to why on that one? We are having a meet with Avaya to review. Thanks Much
