8600 code 3.3.3

Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with 3.3.3 code for the 8600 switch?

The latest code for the passport is up to 3.5.1 why are you considering 3.3.3. We have been running 3.2.2 for about a year and experience a few bugs. We are planning to upgrade to 3.5. A few bugs we are experiencing are fixed in the 3.5 family of code

One disadvantage of 3.5.x-Codes is, that you need 256MB RAM on a 8690SF and 128MB RAM on a 8691SF-Module (Required in Release Notes). If you use the 3.5.x-Code with only 64MB RAM it may work fine (it depends how many features do you use eg. Multicast-Routing), but you loose your Nortel-Support.

3.2.0.0: After Link-loss we lost Policy-Based VLANs
3.3.0.0: Doesn't support Policy-Based VLAN with SNA-DSAP-Type NOT 04, but works stable in our Enviroment.
3.5.0.0: No specific problems detected.

We have implemented 3.3.3 code and are having some problems with cpu switchovers on several switches when commands like, "show config" or "save config" are performed. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Turns out that our problem with the switch-overs was NTP related. Turning off NTP seems to have fixed the problem.
