8600 4.1 code ???

Anyone know when Nortel will be releasing a 4.1 code version for the 8600...I have a new chassis to build but I'm not a big X.0 fan.

v4.0.1.0 is aready available for users with active support contract. You can download it directly from Nortel's web site. Version 4.1.x.x is still in beta tests.

Well, I have received this information from Nortel Support. I don't know when exactly they will be releasng this new version.

If you can test for a while you are ok. I was advised not to apply code to a core production switch until I had tested code in a test environment.
