8600 4.1 &snmp community strings ?

Hello guys , I have set the community strings on an 8600 , but they seem to have reset back to the old "public" & "private" defaults, is there a time limit for the community strings ??
It also will not let me telnet anymore or "device manage" as the gui is greyed out ??
It seems like a management issue as the performance is not affected.

the command I used when changing the strings was :

config snmp-v3 community-strings first xxxxxx
config snmp-v3 community-strings second xxxxxx


Any help much appreciated guys

I don't recall there being a time limit, but in the 3.7/4.1 code branches all of the SNMP functions got moved into access policies so I suppose its possible.

Thanks anthonyandanberg , I was misled , it was dram mem at 99% causing my issue and a reboot sorted it.
