Had to retire my old 860 and replaced it with a new (as in unused)8200. Problem is I have loads of ink for the 860 and none for the 8200. Can I use this 860 ink in the 8200 with some artistic remodeling? Does anyone know the exact differences between the inks.

I would really appreciate any help.

Ink for the 860 & 8200 are chemically the same.
When Xerox developed the 8200, they found out that the yield per ink stick was actually a little bit higher than they put in their documentation.. so the 8200 sticks are a little smaller as well. But I'm a 100% sure they are chemically the same.

If you print a lot of black, you can order the free ink sticks for the 860 and use these as well. (they're not free anymore on the 8200)
