Hello

Does anyone know what this error means on a 840 phaser?

PRINTER ERROR: 22.506.06

Thanks

Out of the Phaser 840 service manual:

Media Jam
Location of Jam: front cover
Sensor Location: Standard tray pick sensors

For the Phaser 840 printer:
1. Pull the paper tray out about 1 inch. This activates all three tray sensors.
2. Hold down the left arrow and press "?" (the help button). This displays the fault history menu with the most recent code at the top.

Thanks for the reply

I now have the printer and have turned it on, it feeds and prints fine from manual feed, but seems to be having problems picking up A4 paper.

The tray has had the middle hole on the side taped over, I assume as with my 350, this is to tell it is has A4 not letter paper in?

The paper gets fed until it reaches the set of rollers that you can see when you open the front panel cover, it then jams. An ideas?
I can get an error code, I had a look like you instructed and new errors (at top?) were different to the bottom ones.

It has not run out of wax so unsure how much further I can go to trying to fix without replacing wax.

Thanks

Mat
