81C: COT trunk hunt group dialing rogue number

I have a trunk hunt group that keeps dialing one particular (off-site) number. Started about three months ago. How can I either stop or change what it dials? And why would it be doing this in the first place? I have a tie cable slowly going bad, could that be a possible reason? TIA
 
We're going to need more information like how the trungk group is configured. Are you specifing the hunt or is it hunting through telco? What is it searching for in the hunt and how does it terminate? Are these incoming or outgoing? ...
 
outgoing COT. Problem I have is it is an analog group setup way back when. My guess is that it is hunting through telco as I have no reference to the programming besides the standard trunk routing. As to terminate, the group is tied to demark and then to trunk card.
