I'm getting 801 coming in on the caller ID from all incoming calls. Trunk 1 is where it is coming from. TAC is 801. The format on page 2 on display trunk 1 is set at blank. Shouldn't numbers be coming through alright? What should I be checking for? I've tried pub-unk and intl-pub but it is still showing up that way. When I perform a trace I'm getting the number and name on the trace but on the caller ID it's coming up as 801.

Do not know for sure ,but if this is an ISDN trunk maybe you need to ensure that on page two the 2 items below are set to yes.

Send Name: y Send Calling Number: y

yep, that's all set. send name and send calling number are both set to yes.

would it make more sense to say that the calling number shows up on caller id but once you pick up the call that's when it says 801.

I did notice on page 3 that "send connected number" is set to no, should I set that to yes?

Do a change trunk group 1 and on the second page make sure the following are all set to Y: UUI IE, SEND UCID, USNI DELAYED CALLING NAME UPDATE, and SEND CONNECTED NUMBER. I had a customer that changed PRI vendors and their caller ID stopped working upon change without any Programming changes to the switch. When I set these attributes to Y, it began working. Good luck and let us know if this works for you.

thanks, ill try it out and ill let you know...

Open a ticket with your carrier. All those fields you're checking are for outgoing calls. Have your carrier put a trace on some test calls and see what they're passing to you.
