I have a 8oo number that when it is called goes to a certain extension. How do I have it go to a different extension?

but how Is this number define in your PBX, Use LD 20 DNB for printing the number (800)and seeing for what is used

a couple of ways to send an inbound 800 to a unique dn. your usually getting dnis (ld did) from the provider. if they are sending the dn, it may be a problem.. look at ld 49 prt idc.. check to see if the dn on the current set is in the output table, if so that is all you need to change.. if not call the 800, then trace the call to see which route it comes in on.. then build an idc table in 49, go to that route, answer idc yes and then enter the idc table number in the next two prompts...

right now, if the provider is sending 1234, and it rings 1234, then in 49 enter a new table then 1234 return then the dn of the station you want the 800 to go to... when that dnis comes in the idc will translate it for you.. the possible problem is if that is the same route as the did, then all did's will go to that station.
