I have a customer who has a HQ and 40 remote sites, connected via VPN.
everyone is able to call 800 numbers except the 1 site.
the whole company shares 72 ATT SIP trunks
they have a VMCD ver 6 MCD

i have a teleworker phone on my desk, and i can call them internally, with no problems, and i can call 800 numbers with no problems.

i had a test SIP trunk in there last month, so i just routed all 800 numbers through the non ATT trunk, and that worked perfectly for them.

however the HQ deleted the test SIP trunks recently, and now the 1 site cannot call 800 numbers again.
i have made sure that they are on the same class of service as the other users.
i have set up a brand new phone onsite just to see if that made a difference, to no avail.

any insight would be helpful
thx

What do you hear when you attempt the call? Dead air, busy, reorder tone. If using a display phone what shows on the screen? Nothing, number dialed, call barred, invalid dialing.

it says call barred

but they are using the same COR and COS as my teleworker phone and most of the phones in the company

DGT TRACE 8008004653

DGT Trace started:
8008 : Broadcast Group (270)
DGT Trace completed.

LOCATE NUMBER 8008

DGT Trace completed.
The number refers to a Hot Desk ACDII agent (Mobile DN).

When the call is dialed on the 2nd system it uses the COR of the trunk. I suspect it is the IP trunk on the target system that is restricted.

Try enabling Travelling Class Marks on the originating system for a phone that is failing. This will force the system to use the COR of the originating phone.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

I only have 1 Mitel 3300 PBX.
the remote phones are all hanging on the main system through a VPN.
This particular company has around 20 phones, and none of them can make 800 calls.

i made the correction to the Travelling class Marks in system options, and it made no difference.
I have no COR set
all the phones, including mine are on the same COS

Any other ideas would be appreciated

thanks for the effort

regards
Russel

This is a list of some things that resulted in Call Barred:

COR violation
COS option "Public network access via DPNSS" set to No when using PRI or QSIG trunks
Interconnect Restriction violation
Tenant Service violation (Tenant cannot use owners trunks)

 SXWizard
It is not possible not to have a COR.

Do your 800 calls go the same route as local calls if not, then what route and what associated COR grp

Try this maintenance command on both controllers. "Block_calls show". See if any of the categories have a count greater then 0.
