8.1 UC Module and UMS Exchange?

I think I'm coming to the conclusion that this is not supported. I know that there is a statement in the docs

Voicemail Pro runs on both Windows and Linux servers. For Voicemail Pro server running on Linux such as with the IP Office Application Server, the following Voicemail Pro features are not supported:

• VB Scripting
• 3rd Party Database Integration
• VPNM
• UMS Web Voicemail
(However, access via IMAP and one-X Portal for IP Office are available as alternatives.)
• ContactStore
ContactStore is supported for IP Office Release 8.1 Feature Pack 1 and higher.


But that UMS Exchange and UMS Web Voicemail are not necessarily the same thing.

Has anyone out there done this or heard of it working on the UC Module or Application server? I have the MAPI integration and everything else set up by the book and then some. I'm just not getting MWI or TUI playback.

Is that not what the VM Pro MAPI gateway application is for? to provide communication between exchange & the linux VM servers?

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

That is for MAPI delivery of e-mails rather than SMTP. It doesn't necessarily correlate to Exchange integration.
