7961 Issue

I have been installing Cisco 7961g-ge phones and I have had an issue with 2 today.

After manually turning off DCHP and changing the TFTP the phone started to reboot. It took about 2 minutes with just the loading locale settings pormpt. I unplugged the phone's power, not running POE, and plugged the phone back in.

Now the phone's display just comes out as a faded black screen and I can't do anything to it. I've swapped power supplies, deleted it and recreated it, nothing. Any idea?
 
I have more info to narrow down my problem. The power got cut during a firmware update and now the phone wont boot. I tried the factory reset but that didn't work.
 
I solved the problem. We run static IP's at one site, you can't do a factory reset there. I took the phones to our site with DCHP and the reset worked.
