7910 not saving ring tones

we have about 20 7910s and 140 7940s, and we upgraded our server from 3.1 to 3.3.

the 7940s are saving ring tones. but not the 7910s are not.


after pressing the # key, it displays "saving settings" but the ringtone is still on chirp1

Can anyone suggest some things i should look for?

I believe that after the ring tone is selected you have to press the down (left) volume button to save the update. I will try this tonight and let you know.

Make sure you hit Settings button again after hitting the pound key to save the modified settings.

MMMmmm
I tried both... doesnt seem to work.

Hitting the volume button just scrolls down to the next ring tone.
and hitting the settings button again just takes me back into settings
