7808 error code

I have a customer with a Legend 7.0 12.0 with 1 PRI. The "Last 99 System Errors:" log is constantly filled with "TEST RESULT REGISTER BAD:" and code "7808". They occur about 20-25 seconds apart. The customer is not complaining about any problems. The Action for this Maintenance Error Code says "Reset board. If problem persists, check module". I have reset the board and also replaced the board. What module am I being told to check when the action says "Reset board. If problem persists, check module"?

Does the error appear with a slot number?

Yes. It shows "05/00". "05" is the 100D slot.

You may be looking at a bad or failing card.

I have replaced the 100D and still gete the very same error codes with the same frequency. I guess it could be 2 bad cards, but not very likely. What should I be looking at past the 100D?

Sometimes a particular board release is a problem. Merlinman, who responds frequently, has a line on what version of board, software, processor and so forth have had known issues. May want to get in touch with him. Frankly, though, if all else is working, it may be one of those things that just happen, and you have to live through it. I asume that it is working fine otherwise.

Thanks, Pepperz. The customer is not complaining about any problems of any kind. It is just that the "last 99 system errors" log is constantly full of these errors. I'll try to get the info on my boards, software etc to "Merlinman" to see if this is a particular board problem. Thanks.
