7750 Management help

Hello,

My boss and I recently acquired a 7750 core switch but we're both stumped with the management of it. We use 3com device manager and when I set up the initial configuration I enabled SNMP, added the community, etc etc and I can see the device. But when I go to edit the device, I get a failure message. Something as simple as renaming the device returns an error.

I feel like my write permissions are not set up correctly. Is there anything I can check to make sure this is set up? Thank you very much for your help!

My problem ended up being user error. I wasn't trying to access it through the management port. Kind of annoying, but with switches like these I'm accepting of this difference.
