Is the 7407D capable of Caller ID and scrolling back to look at caller-id for the most recent calls?
Using Definity G3 V12 PBX. Central office CID is active.
If not the 7407, would a 8434 work or a 6400 series?

There is an FAQ on setting up the call log on a digital phone. Check out faq690-2996. It will work on 8400 and 6400 series phones, but I don't know about the 7407.
I tried this on a 7407 Plus and it works just great. Don't forget the following in system features:
Maximum Number of External Calls Logged Per Station: 10
Message Waiting Indication for External Calls? y
