7406D phones die and come back

Working with a Definity G3si V12 and am trying to figure out why 2 phones in this switch are dying for a bit, then magically come back to life. Customer says that they phone goes completly dead, no lights, dial tone, nada. Then after a while they are working again.

They are on 2 totally different boards. One is on A02, the other on A04. Both of these are TN754B circuit packs. I've had them switch the phones out w/ good ones and it still happens. I'm thinking the port or the 754B is starting to go.

There are no errors or alarms for these exts. in the switch either. Anyone ever run into this issue on this old switch?

Next time the 7406 phones die, call it and give time of death to the user. The fact they come back at all is amazing.

Do they both fade at the same time? What other connections do they share? Check all cross connects.
