Officially, the 7324 is supposed to be something like release 18 or higher to be fully supported, but honestly every M-series set I've tried on a BCM has functioned flawlessly without issue. The CAP is also supported.

I put in a 450 R5 about 2 months ago at a site that had tons of 7324 sets and just this week they added a DSM32+ module to the expansion cabinet. When the system came back up, about 15 of those old sets quit working and wouldn't come back up no matter what we did. Don't know the release of them all but when we replaced them with 7316s, all was well.

Geez, I wish Nortel/Avaya would generate bulletins about this stuff so we don't have to waste hours screwing around with known (secret) issues!

I usually give my customer a choice of new sets or migrating the old ones. I make sure they understand and include in the SOW that the old sets may not be fully compatible with the BCM.
