Hi Guys,

I have a 7100 (V4.82) with MP10a in slot 0, Combo2 in slot 1 and a UNI card (with 2 x 4DLM + 1 x 2BRM installed). The combo card slot is going dead every couple of days. It is resolved for about 2-3 days by a power restart.
I initially replaced the Combo2 with a Combo3 but still have the same problem. I then replaced the chassis (along with the included PSU) and still have the issue.
Any ideas from the community? I'm starting to think external issue is causing the problem??

Thanks

Hi Pal have you replaced or swapped the 2 x 4DLM + 1 x 2BRM I would of said it will be the 2 BRM locking the card up try that one first.

Hi Russ

The issue turned out to be the MP10a processor card.

I had also replaced the daughter board cards that you suggested....

Thanks for the response.

nzgordini,
We also have an officeserv and have been fighting the voicemail card for almost 2 years. It dies randomly, our phone vendor will make a change thinking he has fixed it, but will reappear sometimes 1 day, 1 week, 1-2 months later. We've replaced the voicemail card, moved the voicemail card to another port, reconfigured the voicemail, updated to the lastest firmware, done packet captures with no improvement. Sometimes you can ping the card, sometime you can't. Any recommendations, should we also think of replacing the processor card, did they explain why that fixed your issue?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt

Suggest you replace your processor. We have had no explanation from Samsung with regard to our issue, but since replacing our's the problem has disappeared...
