doesnt seem to hard.....

if i get my 292 (see other posts, doh!)
i'll do 293 + 294 to be mcse 2003 :)

mcp,
mcsa 2000
maybe mcsa 2003
soon mcse 2003
that way i avoided the 216 hehehe !

aftertaf,

Best of luck! I haven't taken 70-292 or 70-294, but I just passed 70-293 a few days ago. It didn't seem all that difficult to me. Only 40 questions and I was done in under an hour.

Wishdiak

I just did 294, and missed by one lousy questions. It probably doesn't help that I'm a DBA not an SA, so I don't deal with AD ever.

mrdenny,

Yeah, but you could (and should) cram AD material at least long enough to pass. Are you going for MCDBA? I've been thinking about it.

Wishdiak

haha sounds easy (when you learn all the subject matter first...)
the more i prepare my MCPs, the more I pass them, the less i have to prepare my MCPs...
It crosses over, overlaps, and comes back to itself...
hehe

still, must wait till december to know my result for 292!!!
GRrrrrrrr

will let you know

Wishdiak,
Yeah I'm going for my MCDBA. I just need to pass 229 to get my MCDBA. That's the programming test. I figured that I'd pick up my MCSE along the way, I've just been having problems with the 294 and 298 exams since it's not stuff that I every actually have to deal with.

I did notice a lot of overlap like aftertaf mentioned. Just not quite enough apparently.

Yeah, I'm taking them in the MCSE track. In addition to my MCDBA I'm picking up my MCSA and MCSE. (Already for the MCSA).

Just did this exam on Friday, passed with a 760 something. Thought I did better, score report shows 100% in two areas and around 80% in another 2, just let down by OU design :-()

294 - got 920 or sth like that :)
mrdenny..

once i get the 293, same as you mate, just 229 left to get for mcdba as well..

a pass IS a pass ;)

Aftertaf
if its not broken, fix it anyway - with luck you might break it and have an excuse

marino...
did you pass it then?????

Aftertaf

getting quite good at sorting out Windows problems...
An expert when it comes to crashing Linux distributions (mdk, debian - nothing withstands me)

Just finished 293 with 800 points, tonight i begin the study for 294.
If i look at the objectives, it doesn't look toooo hard to understand ... i'll give myself 3 weeks of self-study ;)

well done...

I'm taking 294 in about 3,5 hours ...
I've read the whole MS-book, the latest TestKing and the whole Transcender, that should do it.

Although i don't feel that i'm gonna pass with a high score ... well ... hey ... maybe i'm just nervous!

yes yes yes!

Passed with 802 points!

Tip, re-study the Transcender-questions, they were all over the exam ;-)

1 to go for MCSE 2003, what will it be? 297 or 298?

Yanze,

Good for you! I still have the 70-294 ahead of me, but people passing it the first time is very encouraging.
