70-228 What the ??

Sat this exam last week, after being on the course for a week and doing countless practice tests and reading every book I could find.
Failed the exam, but couldn't belive that there was only one question that actually had anything to do with installing SQL 2000. There were also only 4 questions that didn't have Transact-SQL Language in them - Do they not know that you can administer through the GUI aswell ??
Any comments welcome...

Well, if you ever find anything out let me know because this test is about 4 months away for me... of course I don't have much SQL experence so it may be a bit longer away, but since I am working on my MCSE I figurued I might as well get the MCDBA at the same time CJ

70-228 and 70-229 are both exams that will give you new gray hair. I did the MOCs, MS Press books (waste of time), Transcenders and went through "Inside SQL 2000". Studied and studied and then studied some more. Passed 228 okay and then barely escaped with my life on 229.

I've always felt that the Transcenders and "Inside SQL 2000" were the main reasons I passed. If you can, give those a shot.

yeah the MS press books are a real waste , there is no stuff in that which was asked in the exam. i went thru the mock test from the transcenders which was good at least the pattern of the questions were the same as that in the exam but it wasnt enough ...i failed in my first attempt which really upset me coz i m not new to SQL Server...but i m not gonna give up . i am again appearing for the 70-228 and i got 3 days more to go before the exam . this time i was going thru testkings material and i feel that the questions which i see in that is a bit more similar to the exam than the transcenders ...after all the exam is not that easy most of the questions are really tricky ones . wats that "inside SQL 2000" which grog is talking abt ???
